Default Just cleaned engine bay....u know what im gonna say next...

...and the car wont stay on. I simp;le greened it, sprayed it down, let it sit, tried to start...no good. Then took off distributer cap, plug wired and blew it with the vacuum cleaner on BLOW ( haha, just felt like i needed to scream that). Put everything back together and car cranks, if i gas it at the right time i can get it to run, VERY badly, if i stop giving it throttle it dies.

SO, everything is now dry but car still sounds like a its 3 spark plugs and 2 pistons

edit: this will be the last time i every clean myt motor

Did you cover you distribotor cap and plug wires while spraying the motor?? I keep the plug wire cover on and put a bag over the ditributor cap, etc., and leave the car running while I spray the motor down. Never had a problem, and I've done this a hundred times.

check your plug wires at the plug end. water may have gotten in there. BLOW that out, too.

what's the condition of your plug wires themselves? last time they were changed?

When I clean my engine I cover the distributor, alternator and battery. You shouldn't spray directly into the head or anything.

? Wait til the morning see if she starts.

pull your plug wires and used compressed air to dry them off inside the boot. Then leave your spark plugs IN and spray compressed air into each cylinder. Now pull your plugs and your fuse for the fuel injectors just as if your were doing a compresiontest and dry crank the motor 9-10 times. After that you have done everything you can to get the water out with out screwing **** up. Don't worry about it man. It happens when you spray down a motor. Noting to stress about.

What?! So you don't have a fuse panel under your dash inside the car? How the hell does this work?
