Default Brake ducts partII

I took for example how 57STS did his brake ducts. And no I'm not some poster RACER boy. I have a track event both Sat and Sun, this nice lil cooling system should work just fine. Oh and bb6h22a, I know we discussed brake duct and how they're gay if you don't race, but I racing tomorrow. In addition I have some Auto-x pics. I'll let the pics explain.

And yes that is enough rooms for full turning clearence.

I'll be happy to answer any questions about the brake ducts. i.e. cutting the splash shield, routing, and attaching.

I don't know if they will help, but one thing is for sure...... air will be flowing to that region, and I've taken advice from people who actually do say they help.
If I slide off the track tomorrow than they don't work and I'm blaming the ducts.

What's the inner diameter of that and how long are the ducts? Looks like it's narrow and traveling a long way. I'll definately have to check it out tonight or tomorrow at the track...

Take of dust shields.. you don't need brake ducts w/ the right pads I tried them, ripped them off, don't use them anymore and can't be happier..

I dunno silly lil project. I have nothing but stock everything for a braking system. And removal of the hub to get to the silly shields was not going to happen the day before the event.

yeah, real winner there.

crossdrilled rotors won't last but 3 or 4 track days at best.

Of all wastes of time you have managed to baffle me with this ridiculous DIY moron mod. Welcome to hondatech i guess. You didn't remove those stupid heat shields? Too high tech of a mod for ya, ehh? Oh well. I'm sure your little doo-dad brake air intake mod will shorten your 60-0 distance by about NOTHING! FLAMER MOD OF THE YEAR AWARD.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes well.
I guess you didn't see the section of the splash shield NOT heat sheild that I cut out. And Like I said I'm not expecting much out of this mod, but you never know. Oh and I guess the Lemans Series racers are idoits too for using air ducts for rotor cooling. Of course they have better induction techinques.
