Default Troubles, troubles-engine dies- help

Hi,
when I start the engine when it's cold it idles OK, but while it warms up, revs go down and down and the engine dies immidiately. I have my IAC cleaned 2 weeks ago (it was terribly dirty).
Now I have no clue what's wrong with that. No CEL.

Have you installed anything recently? Or did this just happen all of a sudden?

hey guys not to bring up an old thread, but this just recently happened to my prelude and was wondering what you guys thought. please help me out. my car is fine at cold start up but then when the engine warms up, the idle seems to die down and go down until the engine dies. also when i come to a complete stop or am in neutral, my engine dies. i have to keep giving the motor gas just to keep it from stalling... any info would help immensely. please help me out. thanks guys!!!!!

oh yeah and i have one CEL which is a code 6 which i believe is a ECT sensor malfunction. but i dont see how that could be the problem of the motor dying.

Well check your valve lash, as far as code 6, probably meaning your engine isn't reading the proper coolant temp which can cause the car to run very very rich which in turn can blow out the spark with fuel, causing the car to die!

Ignition switch, main relay overheating, fuel pump roasted, ignition coil, dizzy or igniter inside the dizzy, bad plugs or wires, shall I go on. Get a helms and start testing!
