Default vss

does anyone know how this is put together? i can't seem to get the cable into the part on the tranny. There is a curved copper pin that goes into the shaft of the opening on the tranny. I don't know where this is supposed to go, don't know if I have everything I need. does anyone have any pics, drawings, or can ecplain this setup to me. thanks

You have to turn the cable just right for it to fit in all the way. Then, the clip should go on easily into the slot.

1. Remove the copper clip. (it slides out)
2. Turn the cable with pushing it in.
3. Install the clip back in.
You're done.

There is a small grove on one of the sides of the shaft where the you put the cable in through. You slide the clip on the shaft, and one of the sides of the clip will go into the grove. Now the cable has a neck on the end of if, and with the clip in place, it will not allow the cable to come out.
