I need a switch for this "project" I'm working on (top secret y0 )

Anywho, since my A/C doesn't work, I'd like to just use that switch in the climate control. My question is, is it a simple switch that can be easily rewired to another load or is it a complicated birds nest of a wire harness thats not worth my time?

Second question. If I ever do decide to go back to A/C, can I just use a regular automotive toggle switch to replace the climate control switch?

 

I am almost positive that it isn't a 2 wire switch.
You couldn't wire up anything to it without totally
re-doing the climate control.
