Default raise my compression

im looking to raise my compression, i have a f22b1, would the h22a pistons fit. I know the displacment is slightly different. If they did fit, would they raise the compression?

399$? this is why i was wondering if i could just take some off of an h22. Would i wanna go up to 11:1 compression. How much will this take down gas milage and drivability, what kind of gains are to be seen?

if you are looking at building something.. screw gas milage, and all that.
If you plan on building a NA f22.. Get ready to dish out some mad cash.
Your better off getting some n2o or turbo.. then figure out if you wanna build an na f22 or wanna do a h22 swap.. I went through the price of building a hi compression f22, the price wasnt worth the power.. Then on the other hand you can buy a turbo kit run it at a 7psi on a stock motor, see major gains, then build the f22 for more boost.. The f22 motor is a great motor for boost, starts with low compression. If you want more boost build it for the boost.

but then a high compression n2o fed motor isnt that slow either.

up to you man.. but a NA f22 is hard to do..

to answer your original question, i will sum it up by saying that h22 bores are 87mm and f22 bores are 85mm

it would be more feasible and economical to get forged pistons built for your f22 (if that is what you are going for)

the bore is too big and the wrist pin location is different.

in short, no its not a viable option.

Before I bought ANYTHING from GUDE, I would highly advise doing a search.

I speak from personal experience.

if you want a reliable and cheap way to raise your compression a little, find a GOOD machine shop and have them mill the head a little more than spec.

but be sure not to go too much or you'll have valve>piston clearance problems, as well as other stuff.
you will need a different timing belt if you do this though.
