Default Compression Issue

Hello...i have a fully built h22 using 8:5:1 pistons. I havent gonew turbo yet. Still breaking the engine in. The car has no power at all...complete slug! Wondering if I went too low on the compression or is it fine for turbo. Thanks

I don't understand what your asking... is it too low because your car is now slow without boost? it should be slower with less compression on N/A motor...
8.5 is on the lower side but people run that compression with boost all the time. just use a lot of boost

I run 8.8:1cr in my 81mm B16a2 and at first it felt really sluggish part throttle... Then I got it tuned by Mase and it made a world of difference. Have you gotten it tuned?

8.5:1 will be fine for a daily driver. You will be able to make a lot of power on pump gas with that compression and turbo. Get that thing tuned though asap!
