No 5th or reverse
My rex will not go into 5th or reverse. It was working fine until I tried to leave today. It doesnt matter if the car is running or not. Tranny oil was changed about 3 weeks ago. Anyone have any ideas? Am I going to need another tranny? Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's interesting. I just blew my EXEDY stage one with very low miles on it. It was brocken in properly and installed right. Car's been in storage over the winter so my warranty is up. U in the same water?
EF: My clutch works fine. Havent had a problem out of the clutch.
I got my car up on jackstands and the shift linkage looks fine. SHifter bushings have previously been replaced with ES bushings. I'm thinking it is in the tranny. It wont even go into reverse or 5th with a little help from under the car on the shift linkage.

If you've lost 5th and reverse the selector fork has either broken or dropped off, as they use the same fork, split your tranny casing and have a look.

That is what I am thinking now. I was hoping I didnt have to do that. I'll prob just get a SI tranny for it since I am running a DX tranny. Thanks

Well good luck Geoff, I hope it's something simple...
