400/500 works well while retaining a decent ride quality.

I'm running 400F/500R on my R and I love it. I have Bilsteins and the ride quality isn't much worse than stock. The performance is great on the street, and I';ve only done one autocross with the new set up, but having rotation readily available with the release of the throttle is nice to have.

"Too much" is relative. It all depends on how much you want. You can always play around with sway/strut bars and tire compound and pressure to get the feel you want.

so with 600r, whenever i would trail brake it would be somewhat tail happy but not so much as to where i would instantly go into a spin

Its not like you're gonna get the car to kick out in teh rear because of the extra 100ft/lbs in the rear. You can play with other settings so its all realtive to your own situation.

Now is that kg or lbs?

I run the Skunk2's on my car and so far it's been good. 1,000kg FR and 800kg rear's I believe. So that's roughly 450lbs front and 350lbs rear. Hope I did the math right. It clunks every now and then. At first I was going to get a set of Koni Yellows, but plans and funding have changed. You think Big Phat R's spring rates are high. LoL!

Sorry to bring this back up, but what is the conversion from pounds to K, as far as spring rates go?

kg * 55.88 = lbs

lbs * .01771 = kg
