My boy wants to ask a question:

His 94 accord lx (f22b2).. is totally stock.. but now his exhaust note sounds much deeper.. almost comparable to an aftermarket system.. I wonder what the hell the problem could be.. Would it be the actual exhaust at foul play.. or would it have to do with some internal malfunction.. Anyone endure such a problem in the past?

My first guess would be a hole that's rusted through the pipe.

 

you may have a slice in the piping it may be breathing easier some people take the cheap way out putting holes in their muffler go figure.

 

probably a hole in the exhaust, its not very difficult to diagnose
