My exhaust resonator is scraping when I pull into driveways. I was wondering what I could do to fix the problem. Im thinking about smashing it with a sledge hammer but im afraid of cracking the metal and having exhaust leaks

Forgot to mention both cars do it. Stock 93 accord and stock 96 accord lx. I guess I will do a 4" lift kit with 33" super swampers
