I'm guessing you are talking about ignition timing? Advance from 16 to 18 BTDC?

I went from 10 degrees to 16 degrees. 5hp all across the powerband. Car felt like new again

hmmm....what dyno was this on? what was the temp of the engine? etc....

personally that plot looks like heat soak rather than 5. hp's across the board. usually increasing timing changes at a certian point rather than across the board!

i advanced my timing and saw less than 1whp change. we let the car cool (with fan blowing) between runs for about 10min.

But then again, 3-5 hp isn't very noticible.

wth are you doing @ 10deg in timing dennis... now go to 18... gain a lil more.. so you can have...
