Brake Swap - 93 Prelude Rotors and Type R Calipers
Has anybody else out there with an EG done this? I heard it all bolts right on, but some have said you need the knuckle. According to what I've read on Hybrid Honda, it should just bolt on. Any information??? Thanks for your time.

it will probably work if you redrill the rotors to 4x100....or i think it will.. May need to shave the caliper or something too...dont remember
Thanks. That's what I remember also - you have to redrill the rotors. Aside from that I heard that it bolts in. The only thing I'm worried about is the calipers. As it stands now, those calipers will not fit inbetween the back of my stock disks and the mounting bracket. Do the prelude rotors have enough offset to sit out more, thereby giving up more space here? Just want to know before I go out and get the rotors and drill them, only to find out that there's no clearance. But I guess I can shave the calipers. Has anybody already done this swap?

I have the rotors from a Prelude VTEC 93, Type R calipers, but no way to adapt it to my spindle and caliper brackets. I saw fastbrakes setup. Looks good. Has anyone used it on a 92 Civic CX (CDM)? I need to buy or make whatever it is that they use to adapt with.
