Catz makes a HI/LOW h4 kit for your hatch so you retain both high and low beams. If you want projectors, Id suggest an H1 kit.

if you get a kit, it should come with everything you need, all plugs, ballast, harness, etc. you should stay within the 4300k range, because you get the most light output. i settled for the HELLA H4 4800k high/low kit. there is quite a bit of scatter, but there is nothing i can do because EK headlight housings suck. here are some pictures.

what do you mean by scatter, and where did you get your lights at? and for how much? I know how the HID system works, but i'm not sure what all should be done to do the job right, but then again i'm sure its really simple
</TD></TR></TABLE> I know a little about HID systems and how they work and setting them up , but i'm not sure about all the wattages, and brands that are best? what is scatter? and how do i not have that, it don't sound good? let me know thanks

Let's see it when your done...

Personaly I like HID, but it isn't for me. I somehow got a test PIAA h4 bulb that is the crazy light I've ever seen. Everyone stairs when I drive at night. It's bright yellow, but has different colors at every angle, not the blinding color of HID. At some angles I can see blue, purple, green, and white. Always comforted buy the 60watt yellow glow...

thanks...they are painted USDM headlights, and as for the corner, i just painted the reflector the same color as the housing, so it blends in....illegal, but cops don't know . i also use the stock amber light bulbs.

Your setup is really nice airbag.

Well since we are on the topic of retro fitting.
How about a retrofit of the Q45 Honeycombs
on EK headlights. That would be bad ***.
