Something similar to this is the best option.
Regardless of what plug-and-play kit you purchased, putting HID's into stock EG housings is going to result in a poor beam pattern with excessive amounts of scatter and glare.

i totally agree...
i had a crappy rebased H3 HID kit and it SUCKED!!!!
color was ok, but light output SUCKED!!!!!
if i had to do my retrofit again, i'd shell a few extra 100 shells or so for s2000 projectors or maybe TSX projectors...

another note... if you are going to use the "plug and play" HID kits, at least get some aftermarket projector housings...
the fluted lenses of the stock headlights SUCK and will give you excessive glare w/ HID capsules...

I heard Philips were pretty good. But yea, don't just plug the kit in your stock housing, there will be so much glare. Glare = ugly and illegal. If you really want good output, do a retrofit like the others say.

don't get a plug and play kit. Retrofit an oem set of HIDs in there.
the kits that are sold on ebay are illegal for use on us streets.
retrofit oem projectors into aftermarket lights that don't have fluted lens and you'll have great output. Plus blinding other people isn't cool.

Re: best HID kit! (Phantastic)
I wouldn't get a plug and play hid kit because if one of the bulbs go out, you are sol, especially with a specific kit like those made in china.
if you get a oem kit and your bulb blows out go back and get a d2r bulb

Ebay is probably your best bet. You can also search the H-T Marketplace.
