Default Front winshield Wiper Ques???????????

ok on my g3 teg i noticed that when i pull on the lever for the washer fluid the wipers dont start to move i then have to press down to get them to go. Arent they suppose to start going as soon as u pull back for the fluid???? So basically i can pull back on the lever for the fluid and it will just go all over the winshield but the wipers will not turn on unelss i press the lever down . Whats up with that? if anyone knows please let me know. Thanks

simple....squirt your windshield washer fluid....

the wipers will either turn themselves on automatically
-or-
the wipers won't move, and the fluid will just pump.

I dont know when they started it, but newer tegs have that feature when you wash the windows, instead of having to push down and back to wipe em.

mines a 2000 and when I squirt the liquid my wipers come on 4 or 5 times (wipes) then shut off. Must be a newer model thing.
