I know install on the skunk2 is suppose to be a bitch.. and i have printed out some of the threads to help..
However does anyone have the STR 68mm TB and have any feedback on it
and its pretty straight forward to install the throttle body right?
I just have to go pick up my type R CAI on monday then i have all the parts..

hopefully with these 3things my car should be done....
I also just picked up the energy suspension motor mount insert kit.. anyone have this either ?????

Any other suggests on what i might need.. i am hopin to be in the HIGH 13's once all theses final parts come in... is that reasonable with my current mods?

only thing I can think of is you may need a new throttle body cable....

you should be able to hit high 13's for sure with that setup. The only thing I can see is I don't think you want to race with your heavy 17's. Get a set of racing rims to go along with your setup and it will drop your times. But I can still see you hitting high 13's with the 17's on there. Nice setup ...impressive.

If you need other things to do maybe you should think about getting some headwork done. Other then that you are doing really well with your car....nice job.

 

THanks, yea i am looking into a set of smaller rims, yea i think headwork could be next although i am about to purchase a 2nd bottom end so i can maybe go turbo one day but those ITR pistons arent what i need for that.. so for the next 6months i will piece together a bottom end.. i also wanna look into getting a ITR tranny with the LSD. cause torque steer is kinda bad right now

actually to get the pure performance u must port match the intake mainfold with the throttle body , im running itr tby and skunk 2 is 62 mm and tbdy is 62mm , make sure to measure the inside diameter of the the tby , the spoon is 70 mm on the outer side but 62 mm on the inside diameter , you might need a itr throttle cable and itr tby gasket and possibley might need to porth match the intakemainfold to the str mainfolds size to optimize full performance
