Im getting ready to get a Skunk2 IM and decided that it would be better to ugrade the throttle body now rather than reinstall my current GSR TB. I am not to familiar with the sizes and gains or what not, but i would like to run a ITR AEM CAI with it. I was wondering what brand and modle TB should I consider buying to go with the Manifold besides Spoon, lol.

Could also have your current throttle body bored out to 64mm to match the skunk2 manifold for less $.

import builder had a dyno graph comparing two different size TB. I think one was 62mm and the other was 68mm. The horsepower gain was very liitle (I think it was like 2 hp). I was going to get a TB or have it bored, but I have decide to keep my GSR TB as is. Do a search you will find the site. It also has lots other performance parts comparing to each other.

 

i just bought a used 2001 gsr tb and had my dad bore it to 64mm and make a new valve for it. So it matched the bore on the Skunk2 IM. Which got rid of the whistle caused by mismatched ports.
