Default Which SOHC in CRX

Should I go with the Vtec of NonVtec? Motor is knocking and probably about to go. I am trying to get out the easiest and cheapest route for this swap.

Thanks

Lotta people recommend a D16Z6 bottom end with a Y8 head and intake manifold. I wanna go this route too, when i get some cash

<---running a full Z6 swap and loving it. Just enough torque and hp for a daily drive with potential to boost in the near future!

Does the Y8 flow better or somwthing? What is the rationale for that combo.

What car does the d16z6 come in?

Thanks,
Brett

What about a '92 or '00 EX motor?

A d16y8 would be good for your car, they are redily available for about 5-700 bucks with pretty low miles due to the sohc drivers swapping for dohc engines. There are alot of aftermarket parts for it as well, and with some boost you could keep up with the best of them.

Good Luck!
