Default SS Brake lines in STS?

I dont own a copy of the National SCCA Solo rulebook, but I am looking at this website of a "transcipted" copy of the book:
http://www.moutons.org/sccasol....html
which states that

17.6. BRAKES
B. Alternate DOT approved flexible brake lines.

are an allowed modification in STS. So does that mean that SS lines are allowed or disallowed?

STS allows slotted/drilled rotors too..... but use them at your own peril http://www.altimas.net/forum/s...32327

Nice touch, RJ. Looking to throw more gas on the fire? Besides, slotted/drilled rotors are high on bling factor, so they can't be bad, right? TiZiTte fo show!

S/S brake lines are definitely legal in STS. I've got them on my car, and well worth the $125 and time to install, IMO. Made a very noticeable improvement in pedal *feel*.

Just make sure you get the DOT approved SS braided lines- there are DOT and non-DOT approved in the market.

Does Goodridge have a new line of SS lines out now? I saw them advertised somewhere and they had a name after them which I can't remember right now..

I was just wondering if it's the same lines I got 3yrs ago or are they "new & improved" (like the sticker on my Konis, hehe).

STS also specifically allows the use of "chrome dipsticks"..."pedal kits"...and "spoilers, body kits, rearwings"
