some 99-00 Si sway bar fun! help!
im putting a 99-00 Si front sway bar on my EK hatch and i got the LCA bolted up fine, but the sway bar is driving me nuts. i finally got the bar bolted in with the D-brackets and the endlinks did not even come close to going into their holes on the LCA. is there a certain sequence to do this in? is my bar facing the wrong way? ive seen pics of the setup but never have i seen pics of where the endlinks are and how they bolt in. can they only go one way into the LCA? somebody please post some pics of the endlinks and how they are setup. any other pics of the setup would be great as well. oh, and, to make things better, the threads on one of the endlinks are all jacked up so im crossing my fingers honda will have some endlinks in stock. should i replace both of them or just the one i need? will that affect performance? anyone got a part number or price? TIA
I have done this to my car. I was having the same problem. Put some jack stands under the control arm sand lower the car slowly from the front so that the suspension is compressed as it would be at ride height. After you do this the sway bar should be a lot easier to line up.
