Default Deck Plate Questions?

Alright Im trying to figure out what I want to run in my car. What are the rules for deck plate heights in any of the all motor classes. Im thinking of maybe running a deck plate but havent decided yet. And another thing does anyone really run deck plates anymore or were they ever that popular? Whats everyone opinions on this sort of engine setup?

Well Dart doesnt make a SR20 block. Im looking into maybe figuring up an engine combination that will use a deck plate. There is a guy on another message board that has a crazy setup on his SR20 that he is putting together.

Im not asking how to build my Nissan engine in a Honda All Motor forum! I was just asking about Deck Plates and if they were legal in the all motor classes and if so what was the limit and what is everyones take on the deck plate engines.

Wait SR20...and a Honda....oh you want Hybrid Forum

Generally speaking, I would rather have something like a Dart Block simply because it's all cast as one piece. The idea of several pieces coming together kinda scare me on something like this. But then again finding a custom made block in the compact market is extremely rare, I'm just glad Dart has started.

Not when they both COMPETE IN THE SAME CLASS!

Which racing sanction did you plan on racing in?

(Try the Drag Racing forum, since there's alot of seasoned PRO's in there)

he couldve said they werein the same class. or just said the class and said nothing about manufacturer to get the rules. he couldve also simply downloaded them from the associations website or talked in the circuit racing/autox forum or drag forum, whichever he is competing in
