Default Help Wanted On How To Chip An ECU

I bought a P06 Chip and it did not come with instructions of how to put it on the ecu. I need a "How To" post so that I can get pictures of each step. Also I think that there is solidering involved, where do I solider the pieces? An dwhich pices do I solider? Help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanx Corey

I would have just spent the 150 bucks for someone like http://www.ericksracing.com/ecus.htm to do it for me with no hassle and same day turn around. Youll be real happy when you fry your ecu. Good luck. Send it to ericks.

Don't waste $150 to have a cheap $15 racing chip installed. If you're going to shell out that much, you can almost buy a chipped P28. Chipping a P06 is the same as chipping a P28:

What if I have the wrong chip for the ECU by accident and I install it? What could be some complications to the engine or the ECU itself?

If you have the wrong/bad chip, just remove the jumper J1 to "un-chip" the ECU. It will run just like it did before(stock).
