Default basemap, 6-7psi, non-tuned

i've been told that running a basemap w/(hondata s200, 550cc injectors) you can ruin your stock motor, @ 6-7 psi, but i've also been told that 6-7 psi with a basemap is fine?

comments?

I'm going on three months on my basemap. 6 psi, just don't go ragging the car out. And don't boost on the highway. Matter of fact try not to boost at all.

The base map should only be used to get your car started in order to get it some place to tune. You really should not be driving on a base map for any extended period of time.

get the damn car tuned. a basemap is exactly that, a place to start. It allow the car to run, but every motor and setup are different.

yeah, I'm on a basemap right now and I was told NOT to go into boost at all... just make sure that little needle doesnt go past zero, it's better then a rebuild.

If it's no where to tune that's why they make the base map so you can drive it to a place.

By the way we do have icons Dustin, blessed us with them! ..........So you don't have to do the Chat room smilies.....

a 12 hour drive versus an engine build up

what are we talking about here? make the drive, man...it's not worth screwing up your car. I would love for a 12 hour drive to be the only thing between me and happy boosting.
