Default weird whistle noise

i have a 5th gen prelude and i just installed the headers and a sound system. well when i step on the accerator i hear this whistle noise as the rpm goes up. i popped open the hood to hear if its coming from the header but i dont hear anything, only inside my car. so i was thinking if it could be from the hole that the tech had to drill from my engine bay to the cockpit for my system when running wires. any ideas? also if it is the header, whats wrong with it

you need to check your ground first off if that's okay then you need to get noise filter. Like this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-f...ANS80

nope, caps don't fix it, because mine could still be heard when i turned the stereo off. remote turnon was wired to the acc.

run your power wire on the opposite side of RCA's, that's what causes road noises, it'll fix everything, i promise

Yes if you do run speaker wire along side power wires the EM is picked up causing noise. If possible I would say wire your ac wire to the radios AC wire so the amp won't be on. Also Check your ground wires. Is the ground wire tight to the cars body? Is it metal on metal with no paint? Do you have a large enough Gage wire for the ground? Ground problems can cause all kinds of difficult to pin point noises.
