Default installed STR throttle body, can't get TPS to set properly...

When i try to set the TPS, the lowest i can get the voltage to go is .7 at idle

it reads 4.2 at WOT

is my TPS bad? how can i fix it? will it hurt performance if i don't?

Try the tech forum, man... I personally know nothing about this, or I'd help you.

you turn it bothw ays to see what the max volatage is right? The max voltage i normally get is 4.7-4.8.. 4.2 is low, buty ou should be able to move it a little and get it up to 4.7 atleast.. It will run fine that hihg.

You could slot your TPS to turn it more

OK, this is how you fix it.
Very easy, remove the TPS and you'll see the bracket inside the T/B that actually moves the TPS, right?

OK, now doing a bit of geometry figure out which direction the TPS needs to travel in order to get the voltage you need. if you need more travel, then with a needle nose pliers, gently bend the tab on the bracket inside the T/B in that direction.

very easy.
I just did one today.
BTW, I bore T/B's as a side job. I do 4mm over the stock bore for $100 shipped.
PM if interested.

you can't bend the bracket inside the str body, it is molded
