Question on 1/4 mile times for car ?!?
Well i'm to keep an open mind about this and not be ignorant, so i htought i would post here and ask you guys,
would it be possible for a 98 type-r to run a 13.58 in the 1/4, with a dc sports header, aem, V-AFC( which is not tuned by the way, so it is really not helping), and a so called 50 shot of nos? ( no mention of slicks)
i wouldn't think so, but like i said im trying to keep an open mind .

On a 50 shot it is ver capable for a type r to run 13.5's all day long. NOS will give you a lot of power if installed correctly. On a wet direct port shot it would probably go faster.

I ran a 12.6 at 108 mph consistantly on bolt-on's with a 75 shot of nitrous. I was also running 22 by 8 by 15" slicks.

A nameless bounty hunter on this board ran 12.4 with AEM, DC JDM 4-1, and a 75 shot of Zex, on street tires. I'd say what youre talking about is possible.

A local guy ran a best of 12.90 with just I/H/E and a 50 shot of NOS. He ran consistent low 13's with the same setup in my presence. It was absolutely awesome watching him destroy all that detroit iron
I question about NOS in a direct port or wet manifold setup. Let's say that you have a 100 shot setup. Do you have four jets spraying at 100 or do you have four jet spraying at 25 ?
A 100 shot Direct port is 25 shot for each of the four foggers. Way better than dry, very even distribution, and no puddling or back firing.
