Default LS questions

I wanna put crower stage 3 cams into my stock ls motor is this a good idea? Is there anything better? Do I need to change anything else from stock outside what the kit comes with? Thanks

you should get some better valve springs / retainers at least.

you should read crowers recomnedation. stage 3's usually say you need to/should replace oem valve springs, valves, retainers

My first opinion here would be to say **** buying nonVTEC cam's and just pop a VTEC head on there... Tho the LSVTEC will run more in the long run you'll like the gains a lot more... I don't work with Crower in the VTEC world because I am simply just not happy from what we've seen... If you do plan to use such an aggressive cam as those, I would look into headwork even on the PR4/74/75 nonVTEC heads... Latez
