LS valvesprings
I'm getting my cams reground in my LS motor to about the same specs as the Crower 403's. I'm also going to get upgraded valvesprings but I'm wondering if I can use stock retainers.
anyone? If I get Crower dual valvesprings will it be safe to use the stock retainers or should I replace them with upgraded retainers from Crower or another company?

You will be fine with the stock retainers. I have them w/ rocket valvesprings and 403's and have been perfectly fine for almost a year now. Many others run stock retainers with aftermarket cams as well

Never heard of this before. Dual springs work fine with my stock retainers.

i didnt like how dual springs sat on my stock retainers... theres no second seat for them to sit on. i use single rocket springs and they would be fine for reginds, i use them on my crower 404's
