Default Expected HP with this setup?

I am currently looking to put 00 ITR cams, valves, springs, retainers and ecu into my 99 si. I am just looking for what u guys think a good ball park estimate of the WHP will be. Intake will be stock intake box, and exhaust is a DC 4-2-1 and 2 1/2 inch Greddy Sport cat back. Thanx in advance.

Well let's see you could probably pick up CTR cams for same or cheaper and get a little more, but 00-01 ITR's are pretty close. You only need the intake valves as exhaust are identical so don't waste your money. You don't need springs and retainers unless you plan on going past 8,500rpm. Don't get the ECU it will just dump to much fuel. Be better off with cam gears, fpr and afc. You should really look into upgrading the stock air box. It is pretty damn restrictive on the SI's. 3" short rams are soooo cheap. Works for now. Header is "decent". Exhaust if you mean the SP is pretty good for streat. Actually 2.37" and quiet. Alrighty then.

Well the whole reason I am doing the valves, springs, retainers, ecu is cuz I burnt my stock valves. I am using the ecu cuz I was told by my friend that I need to use the ITR ecu or it won't run right. This isn't true? Also my car ran 138 whp with stock internals, i/h/e, how will I lose hp using this setup? (138>135) In order to tune this I would need to pick up a afc correct? Also there is the question of the IMM on the ecu swap. My friend was saying he has the key code and he can enter it manually so the IMM doesn't kick in? He lost me at that point. Does this sound right? Btw yeah I am loooking to rev past 8500 if I have the itr ecu. I will use the ecu's programmed rev limiter since I basically have the ITR internals.

Have you ever seen a dyno for a stock si? Its usually around 140whp.
About the ecu I would pick up a p28 ecu with hondata s200. I am running that in my 2000 si with ctr cams, ctr pistons, itr valve train and a port and polished head. After I have the s200 tuned I should be makeing over 200whp. If I was you I would get the ctr intake cam and sell the itr intake cam. You can keep the itr exhuast cam because its the same as the ctr exhuast cam.

with a b16a (that's jdm folks ) :156.xxhp

-01itr cams and valvetrain, no adj camgears
-short ram injen intake
-dc jdm 4-1
-buddy club spec3
-vafc

b16's are a hit and miss situation. hopefully yours is strong. mine has turned out to be middle of the road. BTW those numbers on a dynapack dynamometer.

200whp? on a b16 with ctr cams and pistons... I give you 180whp MAXIMUM.

maybe 200hp at the fly. But for 200hp at the wheels in a b16 you're gonna need a whole lot more starting with WAY more agressive cams and you're gonna have to rev to 9.5+

How do you figure? The ctr cams, pistons and the itr intake valves will give me that alone. Not to mention that the head has been completely ported and polished with the intake/exhuast manifold port matched to the head. Of course I will have I/H/E to let it breath better and to manage all this is a p28 ecu with hondata s200. One 160whp my *** maybe 180whp minimum. Also I'm going to fully blueprint the engine before it goes back into my car. Once its put on the dyno and tuned its going to put out a lot more than 160whp.

if getting 200whp out of a b16 was that easy you would hear about it more often.

I've seen dynos of b16's with:
Skunk2 stage 2 cams (and valvetrain)
hondata
open headers
65mm TB with skunk2 mani
Port and polished head
FPR
Fuel pump
3" CAI
and CTR pistons

This only produced 184whp and was well tuned.

Like I said... If you want 200whp out of your b16 you might want to consider revving to 12k.
