Default Rods/Pistons or Hondata?? What would u do??

What do u guys recon?? I'm debating whether to go for the S200b with LC or build the block instead?? I eventually would like to do both but for now I can only afford one or the other...

I have the Max Rev Kit, T3/TO4e running 8.5psi using the AFC Hack which is working very well)...

What would u do??

I would go Hondata. I think you can get the best of both worlds as in, running safely and making good power on stock internals!

Hondata. With a good fuel setup you can push 280whp tuned on your stock motor.

I made the same decision to go with and ems before building the block too. I got my EMS before even recieving the turbo kit. Cant stand up and get serious before you have legs to stand on with tuning.

I pick standalone.
If your engine is healty right now I don't see a need to cahnge anything. Then that will give you ample amount of time to save more without cutting a hole in your wallet. You just have to be satisfied with what your stock internals can do for the mean time.

Yeah get the hondata, tuen turn the boost up a tad and then when she blows u can rebuild. Direp's 2 year anniversary should be coming up soon on stock block. so why spend $ now u dont have to right. hes runnign hondata and is pushing close to 300

Thanx for that guys... I have a buddy of mine who will be visiting the US in a few weeks... Hopefully I will be able to beg him to get me the Hondata while he's out there....

Getting to near 280 at the wheels sounds like my goal will be achievable - What kinda boost would that be at??

I just watched my friend quicklude put his motor back together the other day, he had a fully sleeved golden eagle block with rods and pistons and he detinated and broke a chunk off a piston. Go with the engine managment you will make more power and actually be safe.
