hey guys i just got a new k&n fliter 4 my cai now i heard of people takin off the plastic top bit was thinkin of meshin it with that fine window mesh u think this would increase air flow? if so which do u think is better these hks metal flow filter/blitz knock off filter or a k&n??

get a AEM CAI and slap a blitz filter on it. my buddy got 6 more HP and 5 ft lb or torqe more out of it

what kind of car is it? what other mods? dyno'd?

 

he has a eg w a b16. dc header. with HKS super dragger. AEM fuel rail and nology wires. AEM pulleys. Yes it was dyno'd twice with the filter AEM supplied and dyno'd twice with the blitz filter. Just had a 25 inch shop fan. so i imagine if ur racin u will probably get more power out of it

 

so i should go blitz then i heard it doesnt filter aswell but breathes better
