Default have $600, need help???

i was saving up to purchase a b16aII from hmo, and i had $600, for some reason my dad was so "proud of his son" that he saved up that much $$, he would go ahead and buy the engine for him??? this is my problem....what should i do with the $600???
Should i keep on saving for a turbo?
Get rear disk conversion?? i have a heavy foot, might need braking power
any other ideas??

suspension, wheels/tires, or brakes are your best bet

Dont waste money on a rear disc conversion until you upgrade your front brakes.
Just get some new OEM, not Pepboys pads, and flush your brake fluid and your brakes will be plenty strong for a B16.

So, let your dad by you your swap. But, I guarantee you will need most of that 600 for parts and misc **** to actually get your motor in your car.

what kind of car is this motor going into? You need more then just the motor for it to go in to your civic. I imagine you have a 95 civic.

There is no such thing as a complete changeover.

You WILL always need something that isn't included in a "complete changeover".
Complete changeover typically means that everything you need from the donor car is included, and that typically menas that everything you need to actually put it in a different car won't be included.

Hang on to that money until your swap is actually in and running. You will definetly be picking up oil, filter, tranny fluid, coolant, and SHOULD also change plug, cap, rotor and possibly wires and belts. I would even change the timing belt and the waterpump since you don't know the mileage on the motor. Trust me, no matter what anyone tells you, its a guess. Since the motor is out of the car, it makes the most sense to change timing belt/water pump because it will save you hours of labor down the road.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Eibach95Civic &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">im getting the complete change-over...will i still misc parts???</TD></TR></TABLE>most likely you'll need to replace some things. You should do a complete tuneup on your new motor. timing belt, water pump, belts, etc.
