Default tire weight is often overlooked... new Azenis... heavy?

checked out the new Falken Azenis, seems to be designed with spirited driving in mind.
whoa, that tire is sick.... but they weigh 22lbs in the 205/50r15 size
-->that is 8 lbs more than the Advan 032R in that size...
that is a HUGE difference! would you like it if someone switched your wheels with ones 8 lbs heavier at the outer rim? um, no.
I wonder what treadlife is like comparing these two tires?
I also wonder if that Azenis weight is similar to other street tires available in that size?

anyways, I bet the Azenis will perform much better after 6000 miles of spirited driving when the A032Rs start getting hard.

anyone know of a great performing yet lightweight tire for street use in 205/50r15?
A520/pzero/sp8000/re730/re010/a032r/bfgkd/etc....... anyone? thanks...

just thinking out loud...
