ctr cams , the intake cam has a higher lift than the itr unless they are 00 itr cams and up. the exhaust cams are the same.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU'RE DOING WITH THE CAR!!!!!

if you're a mild weekend event participate (as i am), i prefer to run 01 itr cams. i had toda b's, but the power band seemed to be a little narrow, when the car is tuned for top-end. NOW i use the itr's, and i love them. LOTS more midrange power out of the stock itr cams than the todas could give me, and there aren't any weak poiints in the powerband. the itr's pull hard all the way up to 8400rpm's, like they're supposed to. that's all i need on a street driven car>>>i don't have a lot of opportunity to run the car past 9k anyways....good luck.

01 itr is ALMOST the exact thing. they're like one degree different on the intake cam.

you need to figure out what you want to do with the car. If you're just looking to get an additional 20-30whp from the car, you can do that with quality bolt-ons and type-r cams. But if you're looking to hit the 200whp+ mark, go with something more aggressive.

what would be the range of gains one could expect from the skunk2 stage 2 cams and upgraded valve train on a b16. i want to do this to my Si, i know other things like throttle body and intake manifold, and headers , would all help it, but just lookin for a ball park figure...they should still make power even if untuned ?

on the web site it claims on b16 and b18c at least 20hp gains with upgraded valve train.

stage 2s have great low end torque, and with upgraded valve train u can take it to 9.5K or higher, but i wouldnt recomend any higher then that.
they pull very strong throughout the power band. overall great cams

the ctr isnt as agressive, and wont go as high, not as strong. but still great cams. by far best oem cams.
