put the bolt back on so it's at the very top of the thread. then, have someone hammer on the bolt while you pull the wheel towards yourself. that's how i got mine off.
thanks for replies...keep em comin while i go outside and bang the **** out of it...and kid1320 doesnt seem to have a post about wheel install....thanks

no man, don't bang the **** out of it. hit it normally. pull the wheel towards yourself as hard as you can, and have a friend hit the bolt with a hammer. every time he hits the bolt the wheel should slip closer to you. at the end just take the bolt off and pull the wheel off on your own.

ya, they're collapsible, but there's no way you can collapse it from hitting it, especially from the driver's seat. the only way it'd collapse would be if the car got hit hard enough in the front to move the steering rack toward the cabin, making the steering column collapse.

take the nut completely off. now grab the top of ur wheel with both hands. move ur seat up as far as it will go. slide both of ur knees underneath the wheel. now you have leverege from the top(with hands) and the bottom ( with knees) just alternate pulling with knees by lifting heels and pulling with hands. back and forth, the wheel will come off. trust me. i put mine on with a impact gun. and i was hammering the **** out of everything. and this is what worked.
