Default Is there any differences in the coupe and the hatch?

Alright I know that other than one is a hatchback and the other is a coupe is there any difference in the EG hatch's and the coupe's. I mean what is the weight difference's and is there any difference in the interriors. Any thing that comes to mind let me know. I have never owned a Civic that was between the years 92-97 I owned a CRX and a 98 Civic coupe now a 92 SE-R. So I would just like to know the differences.

Well the 1992-1995 Civic is totally different than the 1996-1998 and 1999-2000 Civics, so owning a 1998 like you did is the same as owning a 1996-1998 and pretty much a 1999-2000.

As far as 1992-1995 Civics go, the 1992-1995 hatchback and 1993-1995 Coupe share the same type of interiors for the most part.

If one were compaing weights the DX hatchback in the same year as the DX coupe would be the best comparison.

The Si is the best hatchback model stock and the EX coupe is the best coupe stock.

The Si got rear discs (only 1994-1995 EX ABS got rear discs) and different patterns on the seats and door trims, while the EX coupe got power doorlocks and windows (hatch had manual).

The 1994-1995 EX coupe also got a better factory stero with cassette deck and tweeters in the doors called "Acoustic Research" or something like that.

Overall the hatchback is lighter, and with even lighter CX and VX models offered if you want the lightest car available then these are what you're looking for.

Oh BTW the hatch rear discs fit directly on the coupe chassis too. Same exact chassis underneath.

Yeah I knew that all of the newer OBD2 cars were basically the same. Im thinking of buying a coupe or either a hatch if I decide to sell my SE-R. I was once quit knowledgable about the Honda cars but havent owned one in awhile and I havent been keeping up with them as much as I once did. Any more info will be appreciated.
