Default turbo + vtec

is it bad for the engine if with all of the compression? since vtec is already a slightly added boost, over time would it shorten the engine's life span?

any forced induction will shorten the lifespan of the motor, vtec doesn't matter.

who's running a successful turbo on their GSR for a period of time. What psi and what setup. I think seeing some people having success would lead to more GSR-T's.

hahaha

I've seen reliable turbo gsr motors run for years with little to no problems. Depends on how hard you step on the gas day after day and ofcourse the tuning. (its all in the tuning.)

If you do get turbo with vtec for your car. What kinda tuning would you have to get? Just can't be any tuning can it?

It's all in the tuning and proper maintenance. I know few ppl who were retarded and were to lazy/procrastinated on checking their oil and blew their motors.

.....shame!

Getting well educated, buying the right parts, and taking care of the car.....if you do those things you can have a successful turbo installation.

Why would you need turbo and VTEC? VTEC is like a mini-turbo anyway. Hittin VTEC is like hitting full-boost. VTEC ownz.
