anyone have a greddy turbo kit for a 92-95 sohc civic or know about them because I have no idea how to setup the wastegate because it doesn't sit on top of the exhaust manifold........i'm stumped

 

come on you guys.................I know a lot of you have greddys in your car...........someone must know

 

the greddy kit comes with an internal wastegate. what are you lookign to setup??

maybe I am missing something here. the wastegate is an internal which is on the turbo itself. you moutn the turbo to the manifold and the wastegate stays attached to the turbo. what more is there??

 

there is no place to put it on the manifold and I've seen other setups of this turbo and it doesn't sit on the turbo

 

nope. the kit you have has an internal wastegate. it is mounted on the turbo not the manifold. I just did a greddy kit for an si and it has an internal gate. why would an sohc have an external gate when the si doesnt and the si kit much more $$$. look at your turbo that came with the kit. see the wastegate on it?? you can pull the wastegate off and run an external one with that turbo but you cant use that manifold.

I know what the manifold looks like. are you not reading what i am writing?? do you see the gold thing in this picture with the blue line coming from it??



thats the wastegate. if you dont have that on your turbo and you have that greddy manifold you are screwed.
