Default b16a2 turbo queries/ideas

Finally got my b16a2 workin perfect in my 4th gen civic, now for the turbo...
Im planning on running a high boost setup(anything up to 30psi) and i wanna do it a bit different. As we have 97-98.5 octane pump gas(petrol to me!) readily available over here in england any idea what comp' ratio to use?? Id like 300-400bhp DAILY DRIVER and i dont want it to be sluggish or have loads of lag. I wanna run it without an intercooler to reduce charge size and therefore lag and run water injection, possibly two stage (pre+post compression) to try and reduce detonation/charge temp. Any one with any experience of a setup anything like this? any help would be much appreciated and id be glad to offer help in return...

Well Seems like your Trying to make a Very Serious setup!

I dont think 97 octane is Near enough to run 30psi, maybe if you were to use Straight Methonal?

And Im sure any turbo that makes power at 30psi is going to have serious Lag!

I belive you should Re-Think your Setup, Being there are other ways to make the power you would like!

ok, so maybe i shouldnt have mentioned 30psi, but what pressure/CR should i be using to acheive the afore-mentioned power figures? bear in mind i can use 98.5 octane fuel and i will be using water injection. will water injection be enough to cool the charge sufficiently to achieve the power? will i get away with stock internals?? i could always wind the boost up for track days/future motorsport use...

If you don't want it to be too sluggish go with something like 10:1. But you don't need to chang anything to get 300bhp. You can easily get that with any turbo kit. At 30psi on most decently sized turbo's you should be looking in the 550+ whp range. You'll have to run a 5 bar map sensor also and find a system that supports it. Anyway, it sounds like you aren't too sure what your goals are. If you just want a 300hp daily driver, just turbo, tune, and go. If you want to run 30psi you will need to have is sleeved, pistons, rods, etc. Another option is to get a big turbo now, turbo it until it blows, and then rebiuld... Either way get antoher car for downtime so you can get around.
