Default Decent price for body work\painting?

I got setup with this guy from this other guy that my family has known since they were kids. He works at a reputable body shop that works mostly on mercedes, bmw, and other expensive cars. He's going to be doing my body work at his house as a side job. He has to do a little adjusting on my front end since I rear ended someone and screwed up my headlight mounts and my fender to hood gap is a little off so he'll be fixing that. Ontop of that I am getting my front bumper, rear bumper, OEM optional sides, rear valence kit, stock gsr wing, and comptech ITR lip painted. I also need 1 fender repainted and a nasty dent taken out of my door and have that repainted also. He gave me a price of $1000. Decent price or should I shop around.

Good price for what he's doing...bodywork is usually a bitch to pay...so yeah, I'd go with him...does he have any cars at the shop that he worked on to show you for an example of his skills?

I havent seen any of his work but I've been in the shop where he works and there are plaques on the wall from mercedes, bmw, and porche saying "great work" and etc. Also lots of letters from customers saying how great the work is. The guy that set me up with him works there too and he said that the guy is the best one at the shop.
