damnit, i was on my way to my GF house for a little "TLC" , and on the way, some bigass horse of a dog ran out in front of me, i SLAMMED on the brakes, but didn't stop in time, i hit the dog, and the damn thing jumped right up and kept on running... i was pissed, so knowing there had to be some kind of damage, i pulled over and checked it out.... as follows.
1: ruined fiberglass frontend, prectically tearing it from the car
2: ruined (1) fiberglass Z3 fender when front bumper was ripped from it
3: broken drivers side headlight mounts
4: BENT MY DAMN $1200 FMIC!!!!!

so i called the cops to have a report filed, i will be going to the body shop tomorrow to have an estimate for the body work written, and will be making a trip to the insurance adjusters office sometime this week.... no more rice for me, i will be getting a new FMIC (yes, i will make sure it is replaced), and will be re-installing my OEM bumper, front and rear, and replacing my Z3 fenders with the good ole' stockers... the only rice to be left on my Lude is the Predator hood

 

yeah people really need to keep their dogs in check. I had the unfortunate experience of running over and killing a little doggie once.

Well not to sound mean but good thing you hit the dog it is considered a Comprehensive claim under Insurance and not at fault, now if you swerved to miss the dog and hit a curb, tree, etc then it would have been Collision and at fault and coul've been Insurance surcharge points added to your policy on renewal. Glad you didn't hurt the dog and yourself. Good luck on getting the car fixed.

ok, so today i go to get a copy of the police report to send to the insurance and it said on it "something something... then the 'dog' ran out and he struck it with his vehicle" that dumb bitch acted like she didn't believe me when i told her what happened, i showed her the dog hair in my grill, and she still wrote 'dog' on her report like that isn't what i hit..... DAMN PIGS!!!!
