Default Will these pistons do good?

Hey guys I have the jg 301 cams in my 99 ls. I dynoed them at a 12 hp gain on stock compression but the tech. says that if I have higher compression then I will gain more from the cams. So I was wondering if the oversized ITR cam will work good on my car and push the right compression? Help me out. Please

I would go with b16 pistons. USDM b16 will yield a 10.8:1 CR and JDM b16 pistons will yield a 11.0:1 CR. Both are fine for daily driving and will yield good power.

Edit: And your title should say, will these pistons work WELL.

Yes, more compression is good. b16 pistions work good but if you get ITR pistions you have to shave about 1mm on the sides so it does not hit the connecting rod.

So you mean to tell me that the b16 pistons are higher compression than the gsr. I never knew that.

Yes, b16 pistons will yield a higher compression in an LS motor than GSR pistons will.

B16a/b jdm and usdm are higher then B18C pistons (itr, jdm, usdm).
