Anyone got an ls running low 13's. If so what mods do you have?

er i dont have a 13 second ls i'm just assuming whta it takes to get into 13's :D

I gotta LS HB running mid 13's all motor as my daily driven car.....13.5@98mph on slicks.....here are my mods:

95 LS B18B with itr pistons, milled head, '00 civic SI intake manifold, DC 4-1 headers, act 6puck clutch, and a z.speed air box.......the motor is stock not built!.... basically high compression motor, ohh i forgot to mention i was running off the headers.........

that's insane! haha.. i think that's tight though. i'll definitely pass turbo up if this is possible....

 

Stock Injectors? No fuel Pump?

I have to give you props for going all-motor, that earns respect.

 

I know it's hard too believe but it's true.....stock ls motor with that setup ran a mid 13's all day long no secrets.....stock injectors, no fuel pump....just with mods i have listed....this is only my daily driven car.......

 

Do you just have two cars?
How does your 2.0 Liter B18C5 do?
I bet it'll get 12.5sec 1/4 mile. . . .

 

yea i have two cars......my LS-HatchBack is just to get around, my fully built itr motor hasn't been ranned yet.....it should be ready by next race season, I want everything to be right........the motor is expected make about 230hp+ to the wheels........this is a full race car .......

that LS hb does run mid 13s all motor......

if you don't believe it.......
we'll be at battle of the import on 7/29
and you can see it......


BTW....my 95 turbo Integra LS ran a 13.05@107mph .......
full weight......boosten at 7 psi

I believe 13.5. Hell i ran 13.7 in my hatch about 4 years ago. Stock headers, stock bottom end, stock injectors, stock fuel pump and stock FPR. Only mods were intake, exhaust, headwork, and some 390 cams, and cam gears. Plus a chipped ecu. Everything else was stock, and the car was in stock trim, not cut up.

 

13.50 on a somewhat stripped hatch... yeah, easy. I believe it.

 

I'll be at Battle of the Imports in bakerfiled 7-29-01........you can see it run there...remember this isn't my race car.......Daily Driven...hehehee

 

wowee. could you give me an approximate price list? i wanna surprise some people.. daily driven is very beautiful..

haha i'll be happy with 14's.. don't wanna strip it down

and super low 13's on 7 psi, full weight? dayum i had no idea..

ooh couple more questions. did you have any clearance problems with the pistons? is it possible to run ctr pistons or is that pushing it? were there any modifications with running the si i/m or the pistons?

What does the static compression end up being with the ITR pistons, and what cc is the head after the milling?

 

lsturbo what other mods do you have along with the turbo?

 

CTR Pistons and a B16 head....other normal bolt on's...
13's all day...evey day...all motor...

msd wires, 6a, coil, cap........
apex s-afc..........

everything else is stock......

I just got my car tune.......
so i'm planning to break into mid 12s w/the same setup at battle of the import.....7/29/01
me and B18c5 2.0L will be there.......


oh...now i got junk2 cam gears......and probably strip the car down a little..
plus i got a cf hood now..so maybe it'll save some weight??????lolz...ok.....2lbs....

 

im gonna probably get the drag III kit. hopefully ill run low 13's like u. how much boost u runnin.

here's a little formula... stock ls motor, stock integra, fuel system, t4 straight turbo, good manifold, good ic, good wastegate, 3" exhaust...

dont forget... this is a bone stock motor... 12.4 on slicks
