Inline Fuel Pump on EF's ???????
I need to install a bigger fuel pump for my turbo. I know on EF's and 90-93 integras you have to drop the tank to take out the old pump which also means I'll have to buys osme extra parts because EF's are know to need parts broken that are siezed to be able to drop the tank which also means trips to Honda to buy them cause certain parts are dealer only items. So I think I may just go with a inline but but do you have to take out the old pump to use a inline since it may cause a pressure problem ? If so I'll just go with a intank if thats the case also whats involved wiring wise beside just power and ground don't I need a relay for the inline pump or can I go off the stock relay ? Thanks
i have a msd inline fuel pump in my car and i didnt have to take out my stock fuel pump..works good as well and i didnt have any problems with it..but you might want to upgrade your fpr if its stock since your going F/I
I do I have a B&M Commando FPR. My AFC is coming in the Mail today so I can tune it to handle the 450cc DSM injectors I'm using. What issues wiring wise did you have to do and where did you disconnect the old line from ? I've seen people do it right from the tank and mount it there but I've also seen people do and mount the pump under the hood by the intake manifold. Thanks for your help it's helping me out alot since all the other Forums I've been on I have yet to get any answers. Guess most honda people just use intanks. Also is the huming noise most pumps make is it that noticeable ?
