timing belt positon on d16a6
does any body know the which marks i line up on the crank pulley? or is there a diagram here on the net? i looked on honda shop manual site and it says to line up the mark painted white and somebody on here says to line up the red one in the middle of the three marks

thanks, i must have lined mine up wrong because i used the red mark when installing a new cam and it guttless *** hell now, only has a small power band at around 6000 to rev limit. so on the si you line the mark on the cam to the plastic timing belt cover back?

i hope you didn't bend any valves since your timing was way off.
you set the cam to tdc (i haven't done a single cam yet, so i don't know what marks are on the cams), then you set the crank pulley to TDC by lining up the white mark to the nub on the timing belt. the pic above shows you everything you need to do.
