Default quick Q about eagle rod bearings. need to know ASAP.

well i am calling acura tomorrow and ordering some rod bearings for my eagle rods. but acura tells me they are color coded or somthing. well when i glanced at the bearings at the shop i didnt notice any "color" marks anywhere. all i saw was (i think) Rock (or somthing) and STD. so i know they are standards. anyone have any info on what i should say, the people at the dealerships here are hard to deal with

basically i want a set of bearings for my eagle rods. its an LS motor, '97 i think.

TIA

i'm pretty sure that eagle rods use the green bearings, but you should call eagle and ask them

The Eagle rods are the equivalent of a "3" Honda rod. You need to get the code from the corresponding crank journals so that the parts guy can look in the shop manual, and determine what color rod bearings you need.
