anyone know the perfect timing for the cam gears on itr cams????

Default anyone know the perfect timing for the cam gears on itr cams????

does anyone happen to know what the "perfect" timing is on itr cams????
im tryin to tune my itr cams and just wanted to know if anyone has dyno tuned theirs and would like to share with me....

my setup includes...
95 b18c1
4-1 headers
AEM CAI
N1 full exhaust...(test pipe)
CTR pistons
ITR cams
Toda cam gears
RC 310cc
AEM fpr
Skunk2 Ecu
OBD1 converted
Apex'i VAFC

but i keep hearing that the itr cams once tuned can give you up to 12hp....help please!!!!!

Yea, I want to know that answer also, but you need also to take into acount compression ratio, and if any headwork,etc.

my compression is somewheres in the neighborhood of 12.1 to 12.5...no headwork is done...

Way too many variables there.

You just have to get on the dyno and play with them. If you are looking for all top end, the settings will be different than if you want midrange. It all depends on what you are shooting for. And a GS-R block will have different "likes" as far as cam timing oes than a straight R motor.

On my bolt-on only car, the best settings for me were +1 intake, -4 exhaust. I got decent gains all around, with the emphasis on top end.

eglover, don't bother trying to get any power out of them. you don't have itr cams. you have 89 b16a cams with a couple of cracks in them! don't rev too high now.....j/k bro, they are 90 b16a cams....
