Default PROfec A or Turbo XS MBC? did i get robbed? help!

i ran a search and couldn't find any advice on this one.. so here goes:
i got a PROfec A setup for $200. i thought was a good deal 'till i heard they don't hold boost well. i'm told they spike to the tune of about 2lbs and the boost level tends to drop as well.
any thoughts on this? anyone using one or know someone that does?
i need to know if i need to get rid of this thing before i put it on.
if i sell it, my other option is a Turbo XS single-stage MBC. i'm told they creep a bit in taller gears when there's more load on the engine. i figure to set it at 10lbs in 3rd gear?
any thoughts or help would be appreciated. thanks!

alright I don't know much about the profec-A. my friend ran it for awhile and it worked good for him. Sometimes on cold days it would spike an extra psi but for the most part it worked nice.

as for the turbo XS i have used both the standard and the high performance models. standard pretty much hits target boost and stays there till redline in everygear. its the most consistant BC ive ever seen first hand.

the "hp" model spools much faster but at the same time it "over-spools" and spikes. usually the spike lasts about 1k rpm's and then settles down. I kinda like the spike. after that it holds boost pretty consistant through all the gears.

well i cant say much about the Turbo XS since it is a MBC

i would by far choose the Profec A since it has fuzzy logic and the overtake boost.... i have never heard of it ever having problems with the module or the stepping motor...if u ever run into a problem with it, let me know....i can get it warrantied or check out for u....i am a GReddy support dealer in FL...

warranty would be great, 'cept i got it from an ebay dealer. i'm not even sure i'll get a receipt. as for the overtake.. maybe that's the "spiking" i've heard of? as for fuzzy logic, i don't believe in that. that's not really why i bought it. i hope it all works out! thanks.
can you still warranty it, though?
