Resistor box on the Crx....change it to Prelude with H22?
I just recently had a idle problem with the car. Didn't do it before then gradually got worse. From 800 to 1600. I didn't do any research on this before I did swap, but do I need to change resistor box to a prelude one? 91 crx and OBD 1 95 H22. Thanks for any help.
all resistor boxes are the same, check your iac (idle air control) theres like a plastic screw thing inside it that can come loose, that or you have a vacuum leak

Got any pics of the motor installed?

Might try cleaning out the IACV
and check for vacuum leaks. I also had a problem with mine idleing too high, and it turned out that a few of the alternator wires were switched backwards.

I already did the plastic screw and that didn't fix it. It's not a high idle, it revs. Like 800 to 1600 back down to 800 up to 1600 and so on. I was thinkin that maybe a crx resistor box has a higher resistance then a prelude one would have, but I'm not sure.
As they said....all the resistor boxes are the same. Your not getting any cel's? IS your TPS adjusted right/ has it been taken off?

damn that looks good!!
Sounds to me you either have air bubbles in the coolant system, a vacuum leak, the throttle body not adjusted properly, or the fast idle valve under the throttle body is loose.
Inspect those and see what happens.
